visited the BOMBA Air Unit at AIROD on October 2nd, 1998.

Che Rose, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF),
senior RMAF and BOMBA officials, the MI-17 project team and
the SMART team.

ENSICA
EDUCATIONAL VISIT
The Director of ENSICA
(Higher Aerospace Engineering Education in Toulouse, France),
Mr. Jean-Louis Freson with a delegation of twenty-eight final
year aeronautical students and lecturers visited AIROD on
April 30th, 1998. The aim of the visit was to learn and
understand the engineering aspects as well as the maintenance
phylosophy of aerospace indutries in South East Asia.

MALAYSIA'S DEFENSE MINISTER
The Honourable Dato' Seri Panglima Syed Hamid bin Syed Jaafar Albar, Defence Minister of Malaysia made an official visit to AIROD on March 17th, 1998. He was accompanied by the respective chiefs of the Malaysian Armed Forces as well as senior executives from the Ministry of Defence.
